Carbon Paper
Carbon Paper is thin paper that on one side has a fine coating of carbon, its used to transfer images and outlines by impression through the original paper and onto another surface.
Carbon Paper is commonly found in receipt books however much larger sheets are available for artists.
Carbon paper is sometimes used by printmakers to transfer a composition onto the etching plate surface for this purpose carbon paper can be bought in rolls from any good artists materials store, printmaking materials store, paper supplier or you can get specially carbon paper products made for you by a supplier of printing materials.
Tip: For a small job you can easily make some carbon paper yourself, simply get a lightweight sheet of paper, and on one side rub a soft graphite pencil over the surface evenly and consistently, alternatively another way of transferring a drawn image or similar to another surface is by using Tracing Paper.
