Casting Plaster

Casting Plaster is plaster material formulated for casting sculptural items in a mould. It is quick setting and once set can be sanded and sculpted with cavring tools if needed.


In art & craft casting plaster is commonly used for kids crafts, where casting plaster is poured into a mould and later the object is used for kids to paint. Due to it's rapid set ability some artists also use casting plaster outside, for example to take a plaster mould of ripples or animal prints left in the sand.

WARNING: The dust from plaster is dangerous to the lungs and should not be inhaled, where a dust mask.
