2 - To document all creative activities with both written reports and with photography, drawings, and video is important. Not only because it keeps a record of achievements, but also as a resource that can be mined for ideas in future projects.
Well maintained documentation of creative work becomes critical when applying for grants and other forms of assistance or when seeking invitations to participate in festivals or other public art programs, or submitting proposals for commissions. The well documented artist is at a distinct advantage at these times.
