Pixel
The quality of display on a digital screen largely depends on pixel resolution; basically how many pixels it can be displayed, and how many bits are used to represent each pixel too. For instance VGA displays 640 by 480, or about 300,000 pixels. In contrast, SVGA display 800 by 600, or 480,000 pixels. True Color which is in use for almost all Computer screens now days uses 24 bits per pixel, allowing the display of more than 16 million different colors!
