Kids glue is another very simple paste, this one though is clear or semi-transparent, it's not toxic and wont do any harm to a child if some is ingested. Here is the basic recipe.

School Glue Recipe Ingredients;

• 1/2 cup cornstarch 
• 3/4 cup water
• 3/4 cup water
• 2 Tbsp. corn syrup
• 1 tsp. vinegar

Mix the cornstarch and water in a bowl first and set it aside. In a medium saucepan, combine the remaining three ingredients and bring to a slow boil. Slowly add the cornstarch to the boiling liquid, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Store in an air-tight container.

This glue works best after it has set at least 48 hours at room temperature, it is a good all purpose papercrafts glue for kids.
