Scupley Mold Maker is a polymer clay product with multiple uses, primarily it allows you to rapidly make a mold of an existing object.

Scupley Mold Maker has the advantage that being a pliable material it can be pushed onto any item of detail, easily removed and then baked to form a accurate mold of the desired item.

Mold Maker is perfect for repairing antique picture frames, make a mold of another corner, replicate it and adhere it to the damaged corner, it can also be used to replicate simple objects like buttons for craft projects and jewelry by using a metal clay. 

Once you have a mold of an item, bake the Mold Maker, and then pour into it Casting Plaster, Plaster of Paris, Resin, Wax, Soap or Polymer Clay and you will have a exact replication.

Mold Maker is also readily mixed into other polymer clays in the Sculpey range and can be used as a conditioner and softener for firm clay. Simply pinch off a small piece of Mold Maker and knead it into a handful of clay until thoroughly mixed. Add more Mold Maker until you have the perfect consistency.
